Steph Qualifies for the Nationals with Mr President

STEPH Croxford and the crowd pleasing, Mr President took the honours in the Grand Prix at the Myerscough Premier League show.

Sponsored by Sue Carson Saddles, Steph won the class with the pair on great form, even with Steph four and a half months pregnant.

Steph and Mr President wowed the crowd and the judges to win and qualify for the National Championship although she admitted afterwards it was quite an effort squeezing in to her jodhpurs.

Said Steph: “It was a struggle to get the jods done up as the bump is beginning to show.  But it is a huge relief to get qualified for the nationals in one go. In another few weeks, I’m not sure what I would have worn. I’ve already moves the buttons on my coat!”

Mr President may be 16, but he has lost none of his enthusiasm for the sport and looked in great shape throughout the competition.

“It’s incredible to think he has been competing at Grand Prix for seven years, but he still loves every minute,” added Steph.
