Sue Carson Saddle’s - Fitting Workshop

WANT to make sure your saddle fits both you and your horse?

Horses and ponies can change shape for many reasons, the time of year, the age of the horse, the work being done, even a change of home or rider may considerably alter the way the saddle fits.

With this in mind it is important to have your saddle checked regularly and help is on hand thanks to Sue Carson Saddles who will be running two saddle fitting workshops at the state of the art facilities provided by Equine Rehabilitation Services on Horsell, Woking, Surrey.

Well known Sue Carson Saddles distributor and fitter, Becky Whitcombe has teamed up with Barbara Coates of Equine Rehabilitation Services to organise the saddle fitting workshops and the first one is free of charge.

These will take place on Thursday, April 15 and Wednesday, June 2.

The days will provide the ideal opportunity for horse and pony owners to have their saddle checked by a professional and in first class facilities.

Said Becky: “For anyone concerned about the fit of their saddle, I am hoping that these two days will either put their mind at rest or help them on the right path to getting a saddle that fits both horse and rider.

“A correctly fitting saddle, fitted by a highly trained expert who really understands the needs of both horse and rider, makes an incredible difference.

“With a Sue Carson Saddle, all the design features are interchangeable across the entire saddle range to provide the highest degree of comfort and freedom of movement for both horse and rider.”

Anyone wishing to have the fit of their saddle checked should allow an hour and a half and will be required to ride their horse.

The day will also provide the opportunity to try new and second hand Sue Carson Saddles.

The first Sue Carson Saddles workshop at Equestrian Rehabilitation Services on April 15 is free – normal charge £50 plus fuel.
