Romanno Ruinart Named Best British bred Four-year-old Dressage Horse

LEADING young dressage horse, Romanno Ruinart has had an incredible year and his successes have now been recognized by the British Equestrian Federation.

To mark his achievements the BEF has awarded the talented youngster the British Dressage sponsored award of ‘The Best British bred Four-year-old Dressage Horse for 2009’. 

The presentation took place at the BEF annual awards dinner held at the Grange City Hotel in London where Clayton  accepted the award on behalf of the breeder, Jenny Gilchrist of the Romanno Stud.

Said Clayton, Rubics owner: “Winning this award is a great achievement and we were highly delighted that his first years competing has ended on such a high

 

In 2009 he captured the Badminton Young Dressage Horse of the Future Award and both the Shearwater Four-year-old national and potential international Dressage Horse Championships.

 

Added a delighted Clayton: “Both myself and  my wife Julie would like to thank all the people who have helped to get Rubic where he is and we would also like to give a special thank you to  his producers Tim and Darren of Court Farm Stud for all their efforts over the last year.

 

“He is just so talented and takes everything in his stride and with the continued invaluable support from Sue Carson Saddles we hope he will go on to bigger and better things.”
