Recruitment - OPEN DAY 6th July 2010
Were you looking for a career rather than ‘just a job’? Want to earn £35K OTE?
One that enabled you to combine your love of horses
Sounds like a dream? It doesn’t have to be…
2010 is set to be a great year for growth and we are therefore looking for additional Distributors to join the Team across the UK and Ireland.
Our Distributors are self employed and work from home or from their saddler, travelling to clients to demonstrate and fit saddles. As they are their own boss, they have time to ride their horse, compete when they want to and then go out and earn great money working with the animals they love… You would certainly not be tied to a desk with us! You organise your diary your way but a typical week may involve activities such as:
Visiting new customers to demonstrate the Sue Carson Saddles range. It’s a hands on approach where you assess the horse and then work with the client so they get to sit on a variety of saddles and experience different blocks and panels to create their own unique saddle that is perfect for both them and their horse.
Returning to a new client with the new saddle and accessories they ordered to give it its final fit to the current shape of the horse.
Refitting current clients saddles on a three-to-six month basis so that they continue to be the perfect fit.
Hosting a trade stand at a riding competition in your area, or at one of the big events, where people can come and chat to you, try out the saddles and book an appointment for you to come and fully demonstrate the Sue Carson Saddles range.
You would have a busy and exciting diary, meeting lots of new people as equally passionate about riding as you are, sharing your knowledge and helping them to improve their riding skills through a product that is genuinely the best on the market, living a dynamic life where all of your days will be different and you have control over them.

You will be fully supported by Head Office:
Full saddle fitting training is given plus ongoing training and support in areas such as sales. Everyone also gets together periodically to discuss strategy, the saddles and to generally ‘team build’.
Help and advice is only a phone call away day or night, seven days a week.
A continually reviewed marketing strategy is managed by Head Office that includes the production of premium quality marketing materials, such as brochures and flyers, and management of the website.
Head Office will field any email or telephone enquiries that come through centrally but belong in your area for you. No two Sue Carson Saddles Distributors ever compete with each other. You will have your own area.
Head Office will manage the order process, chase manufacturing deadlines and do one final quality control check before the saddle is dispatched to you.
Trade stands at some of the bigger, national events are ‘manned’ by several team members.
A capital investment of £22k is required to ‘buy your franchise’, which includes one of each of the saddles and saddle fitting equipment. Finance is available to help with this, subject to the banks acceptance.
Interested? Why not come to our OPEN DAY on 6th July 2010
For an informal chat call 01629 540343 and speak to Sue.
Knowledge of the equestrian industry is essential and applicants must have competed to an affiliated level. It would also be beneficial if you have a BHS teaching qualification and marketing or sales experience. You must have a flexible approach to working as some weekend work, including overnight stays, will be necessary.
