Dressage Delights at Olympia
Amateur dressage rider Steph Croxford and the highly talented gelding, Mr President IV gave their adoring supporters yet another reason to be proud of them at this week's Olympia.
The pair produced two fantastic gala dressage performances at the world famous Olympia Horse Show in London. During the afternoon of Monday 17th December, Steph and Mr President IV were the second highest placed British competitors in the FEI Grand Prix World Cup Dressage Qualifier with score of 69.208% which was won by the World famous Anky van Grunsven.
The following evening, again in the hotly contested FEI World Cup Dressage series, Steph and Mr President rode a fantastic test to score 71.150% in the Grand Prix Freestyle. After four qualifying events, Steph and Mr President IV are now standing in 18th position out of 54 riders.
Olympia is world renowned for it's exciting programme which includes international show jumping classes including; the FEI Show Jumping World Cup Qualifiers, the famous Puissance and everyone's favourite - the Shetland Pony Grand National.
Also competing at Olympia was Flight Lieutenant Juliette Thurston and her 17hh gelding Cymyran Lights. Based at RAF Marham, Juliette and the Shire x Thoroughbred competed in the Services Jumping Championship which took place on Tuesday.
