Working:  Loving and living a life of horses, Ruth groomed from the moment she left school scooping up professional qualifications along the way.  She has worked on some excellent yards, including working for Sue Muirhead where she gained valuable experience with rehabilitation horses, Tim and Antonia Brown’s where they dealt in Competition horses and as Head Groom for International Event Rider Leslie Law where she travelled with him to the US and Europe.  She has also owned her own yard where she combined breaking young horses and liveries… somewhere amongst all of this Ruth even managed to find the time to qualify as a Class 1 HGV driver!

Training:  Ruth receives jumping lessons from Paul Davis and dressage training from Ian Woodhead.

Competing:  Ruth has been riding since the age of five and at the age of 12 began riding horses for a lady that hunted.  At the age of 14 she got her own pony and started competing with The Pony Club.  She is still affiliated with British Eventing and has competed to CCI**. Her current ride is Granador, a horse she bought to sell on but fell in love with!  Ruth concluded her season with Granador by completing the CCI* at Weston Park in October.
